CIMT College, Canadian Institute of Management and Technology organized its Convocation Ceremony on July 26, 2012 at Pearson Convention Centre. The ceremony marked the achievements of around 135 students who had successfully completed their Diplomas in the field of Health, Management and Technology. The event was graced by Bonnie Crombie, Councillor, Ward 5, Mississauga as Chief Guest along with Dr. Bikram Lamba, Political and Business Strategist, Mr Garry Uppal, Sr. Manager, RBC and other dignitaries from various walks of life.

The recent Food Handler Certification training at CIMT College held on May23, 2012 saw participation from a number of people who were planning their careers in the field of food and health. More than 21 students participated in this one day training program held at CIMT College at its Malton-Mississauga Campus. The training was provided by Diana Therrien, Certified trainer from Canadian Food Safety Training Inc. in partnership with Toronto Board of Health and recognized by all the health units throughout Ontario.
CIMT College Convocation 2011 was an impressive display of graduate students jubilation, talent and achievement. Hon. Minister for Government services, Harinder Takhar MPP attended as the chief guest. He was joined by CIMT Vice President Kamaljit BAL and the CIMT president Bhagat Taggar, Dr Kiran Sahi of William Osler Health Centre Brampton, Dr. Simon Taggar of Wilfred Laurier University, Waterloo, Archana Medhekar, Lawyer, Professor Hussain Fatimi, Dr. Devendra Singh CPA and Suzanne Boateng, Student Representative.
On May 4, 2011 our Network Administration students took a trip to TI Automotive here in Mississauga. The purpose of the trip was to understand the complexities of managing IT in a manufacturing environment. On Thursday (March 31st, 2011) the Network Administration Diploma students had an opportunity to tour the Bell Labs Data Center in the Rogers Center in downtown Toronto courtesy of Bell Laboratorie`s IT Specialist.
