The students of diploma in network administration were assessed for their knowledge and skills in the most practical way by the college instructor Deepinder Singh.
The Placement Cell of CIMT College organized an on- campus Career Fair for Personal Support Workers that had an overwhelming response. Over 20 students were assesses for their knowledge training and essential skills through the process of screening and interview.
The students undertaking various diploma programs attended the free workshops organized in Nov 19 and Nov 21 on Researching the Canadian Labor Markets and Setting S.M.A.R.T Goals respectively at Mississauga Campus. The workshop on Researching the Canadian Labor Market covered the aspects of the National Occupation Classification (NOC) and the major skill types, level required for each.
Karen Noel, a PSW graduate of Canadian Institute of Management and was hired by Home Instead Senior Care for the Caregiver position. Home Instead Senior Care was invited by the placement cell of the college to participate in on-campus career fair where the representatives of Home Instead interviewed over 15 graduates and students of the college.
