The students and staff of CIMT College joined hands in celebrating Christmas and the upcoming Holiday season. The event was organized on Saturday, December 15, 2012 which was attended by many of the currently enrolled students and the staff members. Everyone was in the festive mood and lived up to the spirit of Christmas by dressing in the colors red, green or white. The gathering was made more enchanted by the decorations and the Christmas tree which lent a perfect charm to the setting.

The students of CIMT College had the opportunity to learn more about the Employment Rights at Work through an interactive session with Mr Nehru Gunaratnam, an acclaimed speaker from The Centre for Education and Training, on December 5, 2012. The session which was attended by the Diploma students at CIMT college was highly informative and essential for the students who are preparing to enter the world of work.
CIMT College organized a workshop on Personal Income Tax on November 24, 2012 at its Malton-Mississauga Campus. The workshop which was conducted by Mr. Rudy Ramdyal, CGA was attended by over 20 candidates. Rudy gave a brief overview of the Taxation system while discussing the various issues related to it.
A one-day minute takers workshop was organized at CIMT College on August 9, 2012 at its Malton campus. The workshop which was conducted by Preet Bal Sahrawat highlighted the various issues relating to the job of a minute taker. The workshop started with a discussion about the various kinds of meetings that one can expect to attend in a workplace. The speaker then elaborated on the Business Meeting Terminology and used some practical examples to support the content.
CIMT College, Canadian Institute of Management and Technology organized its Convocation Ceremony on July 26, 2012 at Pearson Convention Centre. The ceremony marked the achievements of around 135 students who had successfully completed their Diplomas in the field of Health, Management and Technology. The event was graced by Bonnie Crombie, Councillor, Ward 5, Mississauga as Chief Guest along with Dr. Bikram Lamba, Political and Business Strategist, Mr Garry Uppal, Sr. Manager, RBC and other dignitaries from various walks of life.
