Over 170 students were conferred a diploma at the Annual Convocation of Canadian Institute of Management and Technology last week at Pearson Convention Centre. The diplomas were conferred in the disciplines of Telecommunications, Network Administration, Office Administration, Medical Office Administration and Personal Support Worker.
The facilitation of the workshop series continued at the Mississauga Campus of CIMT College when highly effective seasons on “Mastering Interviews: getting to “you are hired!”” and “The Canadian Workplace” were conducted for the students from diverse backgrounds and education disciplines.
Numerous students took benefit of the free resume building and the cover letter workshop that was conducted at Mississauga campus of CIMT College. Dawn Johnson, the resource specialist from Georgetown facilitated the workshop.
The placement cell of the Canadian Institute of Management and Technology organized a Recruitment Fair on Aug 7, 2013 for students and graduates of Telecommunications Technology and Network Administrators when the industry experts from Robert Half Technology shared their knowledge about the IT sector with the future and current IT professionals. The day was marked by the overwhelming response of the students and graduates who gathered at the college campus to meet with Alberto Astudillo – Senior Recruiter and Angelo Santos – Technical Recruiter from Robert Half Technology
