 Are you a person who likes to deal with data and numbers? CIMT College is looking for an administrator who can work as scheduler for its campuses. 

Job Title: Administrator/Scheduler 

Position Type: Full  Time  (32+ hours per week)

Salary Range :  $18 - $22 per hour 

Location: CIMT College Campuses 

Start date :  Immediate hiring 

 

Job Summary : Planning schedules across all campuses and programs. Creating student schedules for local as well as international students for the present as well as future years( upto next 2 years at any given point of time).Creating course wise schedules for students and instructors to ensure full capacity of classes. Updating schedules on website as well as data management software.

 

Education : 

Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Data management is an asset

Project management certification is an asset 

 

Experience :

3+ years’ work experience in a Private Career College (PCC) as an Administrative Assistant; or 3+ years of administrative experience in scheduling 

Canadian experience in academic scheduling, creating rosters,course and program schedules is desirable. 

Have a proven track record in administration, multitasking and organization, and relationship building

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Post secondary education administration would be considered an asset

Involvement working independently and in an administrative team

Flexible - ability to adapt to changes

 

Skills Required :

Project Management 

Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office: MS Word, Excel, and Access

CRM database knowledge

Knowledge of education industry 

Critical and logical thinking 

Attention to detail

Strong communication skills 

Goal oriented to meet hard deadlines

Flexible and willingness to learn

Positive attitude with solution minded approach

 

 

Job Duties

 Duties and Responsibilities : reflective but not all inclusive

Schedule courses and programs across college campuses. 

Create schedules for local as well as international students using customised software for data management(SAM)

Create instructor schedules to ensure availability of instructor and smooth functioning of classes

Manage student schedules to ensure successful completion of program enrolled for within program duration

Maintain the schedules in SAM and ensure synchronisation with website, campus, programs and courses. 

 Ensure classroom availability and schedules are also in sync. 

Determine and update schedules for next two years at all given times, based on requirements of the business. 

Create schedules and entry points reports for admissions team to deliver targeted admissions

Input data into computerized databases, spreadsheets, or other templates

Compile data into reports/statistics to support Campuses/Admissions

Any additional task assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor

 

Key Performance Indicators

Align and synchronise course schedules among all programs 

Maximise number of students per schedule

Minimise number of course schedules by efficient reorganisation of schedules

Maintain high student/schedule ratio ( average number of students per schedule per campus per program and at company level)
