Series of Public speaking workshop for CIMT Students – Mississauga and Brampton Campus

CIMT College conducted a free workshop on “IPublic Speakingl” for the students attending the curriculum of various diploma Programs - Personal Support Worker, Network Administration, Medical Office Administration etc. The workshop was facilitated by Lance Constantine of Speakers Academy International.  Lance emphasized the need and purpose of communication in public –Lance spoke about the three categories and nine prominent areas of public speaking covering:

Voice dynamics – Change of tone, dramatic pause, voice projections

Body Language – eye contact, hand gestures, facial expressions

Word Choice – Repetition, emption, story telling  

The highlight of the workshop was the discussion around the training, mentorship, partnership and social entrepreneurship. On the whole the workshop was informative and fun at the same time.
