Your Guide to Scholarships, OSAP, and Financial Aid at CIMT College

Your Guide to Scholarships, OSAP, and Financial Aid at CIMT College

At CIMT College, we believe that financial limitations should never hold you back from achieving your educational and career goals. That’s why we provide multiple financial aid options — including bursaries, OSAP, Better Jobs Ontario, payment plans, and other support — to make education accessible to everyone.

Here’s a quick guide to understanding the different ways CIMT College helps students finance their studies.

Bursaries at CIMT College
CIMT College offers a range of bursaries to assist students enrolled in vocational programs. These bursaries are designed to recognize life experience, financial need, or personal circumstances.

Available bursaries include:
* New Immigrant Bursary – For individuals who have been in Canada for less than two years.
* Back to School Bursary – For those returning to school after 5–15 years.
* Life Experience Bursary – For students with relevant education or work experience.
* In-Need Bursary – For students requiring financial assistance.
* Refugee Bursary – For students with refugee status.

Students can apply for these bursaries with the help of their Admissions or Education Counselor, who will assess eligibility based on experience, transcripts, or financial circumstances.

Note: Bursaries are available only for vocational programs and are not applicable for international students or those enrolled through agents.

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

CIMT College is approved to offer programs that are eligible for OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) funding. OSAP provides grants and loans to help eligible Ontario residents pay for tuition, books, and living costs while studying.
Students can apply for OSAP online through the official OSAP website and get assistance from CIMT College’s Financial Aid Office during the application process.
For more details, visit the OSAP section on our website.

Better Jobs Ontario

Better Jobs Ontario (previously known as Second Career) is a government program that helps eligible individuals train for in-demand careers. It can provide funding for tuition, books, transportation, and other education-related costs.
CIMT College supports students in the Better Jobs Ontario application process by guiding them through eligibility, program selection, and documentation.

Payment Plans and Other Options

CIMT College offers monthly payment plans to make tuition payments manageable during your program. Qualified students may also be eligible for extended monthly payment plans, which allow continued payments beyond the study period.
Students may additionally use:
* RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan)
* Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) through RRSPs
* Personal or student lines of credit from financial institutions
These flexible options ensure that every student can focus on learning rather than financial stress.
