Canadian Institute of Management and Technology student who graduated with a Diploma in Medical Office Administration was hired by a local family doctor. Shubhpreet Kaur was sent to a doctor’s practice - Embry Health Care, for her volunteer hours to complete her trainee placement where she was offered a position as a Medical Office Assistant by Dr Aptekar. Shubhpreet undertook diploma in Medical Office Administration from CIMT College and finished her program of study in the month of September this year when, like all other Medical Office graduates of the college, she was sent as a student trainee to Embry Health Care Centre by the placement cell of the college. The students of the institute have benefitted from the placement cell activities, not only in the form of offering them opportunities through recruitment fairs, but also by introducing them to the employers who are looking for employees with specific skills. Canadian Institute of Management and Technology is a recognized Private Career College and offers occupation based training in the field of Technology, Healthcare, Business Studies, Accounts and Administration.
