Generative AI for Business - This course examines how businesses can leverage generative AI technologies to improve and optimize a wide range of business practices. In this book, students will learn effective strategies for prompt engineering, choosing and implementing AI systems, demand forecasting and AI market research. They will also learn how to build meaningful implementation strategies for AI systems while considering and mitigating ethical and legal issues that AI can raise for businesses.
Artificial Intelligence Literacy - This course offers students an approachable and practical introduction to the world of artificial intelligence and its application in a wide range of industries. Students will explore key concepts behind AI technologies and consider a range of case studies demonstrating how those technologies can be applied in real-world scenarios.
Business Analytics Fundamentals - This course introduces students to the complex world of business analytics, with a focus on the range of ways in which big data and artificial intelligence technologies can be leveraged to help businesses collect, manage, and analyze key analytics data. Artificial Intelligence Business Writing - This course offers students a hands-on introduction to business writing, with a focus on the role that artificial intelligence can play in creating written content for a range of business contexts. Through this course, students will learn strategies and tactics for effective business writing and consider how to use AI-powered tools to generate and optimize everything from email and social media writing to business proposals and executive summaries.
Artificial Intelligence Accounting Principles - This course offers students a clear and practical introduction to the world of artificial intelligence and its impact on business accounting practices. Large Language Model Literacy - This course offers students an accessible and practical introduction to large language models, with a focus on working alongside LLMs in a range of business contexts. Through this course, students will learn the foundational concepts behind the technologies that power large language models and explore a number of practical ways that LLMs can be deployed in a business context.

This program gives students an opportunity to learn business management foundations and applied AI skills in a structured, practical format. Students can develop skills that support roles in business administration, operations, analytics, project support, HR support, sales and marketing support, entrepreneurship, and organizations using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and decision-making.

After earning a Certificate in Applied AI for Business Management, you are eligible for positions falling under the following NOC Codes:
NOC - 11201 - Professional occupations in business management consulting – Professionals in business management consulting occupations provide services to management such as analyzing the structure, operations, managerial methods or functions of an organization in order to propose, plan and implement improvements. They are employed by management consulting firms and throughout the public and private sectors or are self-employed.
NOC - 10019 - Other administrative services managers – Other administrative services managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate departments responsible for corporate governance and regulatory compliance, records management, security services, admissions and other administrative services. Also included in this unit group are managers responsible for departments involved in two or more of the following activities: finance, human resources, purchasing or administrative services. They are employed throughout the public and private sector.
NOC - 11200 - Human resources professionals - Human resources professionals develop, implement and evaluate human resources and labour relations policies, programs and procedures and advise employers and employees on human resources matters. They are employed throughout the private and public sectors, or they may be self-employed.
JOB FUNCTIONS
This group perform some or all of the following duties:
- Analyze and provide advice on the managerial methods and organization of a public or private sector establishment.
- Conduct research to determine efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies and programs.
- Conduct assessments and propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures in areas such as operations, human resources, records management, security management and communications.
- Conduct quality audits and develop quality management and quality assurance standards for ISO (International Organization for Standardization) registration.
- Provide guidance and support to businesses on regulatory policies and procedures; ensure internal compliance with regulatory requirements; and prepare submissions and filings with regulatory bodies
- Plan the reorganization of the operations of an establishment.
- May supervise contracted researchers or clerical staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Employers may look for candidates with post-secondary training in business administration, management, commerce, communications, analytics, human resources, accounting, marketing, or a related field. Entry-level roles may also require strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, digital literacy, basic data interpretation skills, and the ability to learn and use new business and AI tools responsibly.
Depending on the role, employers may prefer candidates who can work with productivity software, communication tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, CRM platforms, project management tools, HR or administrative systems, accounting-related tools, and AI-enabled platforms used to support business workflows and decision-making.
