This course is a continuation of the essential skills learned in AutoCAD Level 1.
Upon completion of AutoCAD Level 2, the student will be able to perform advanced text object and annotative scaling, use fields in drawing, change draw order of objects, and work with basic tables. Students also learn to create and use dynamic blocks, work with attributed blocks in a drawing, and extract attribute data. Students learn various methods of plotting a drawing, including DWF, DWFx, and PDF files.
For their course project, students create and complete an AutoCAD set of drawings, for example, a permit set of drawings necessary for city approval.
