Crisis Intervention Training

This course teaches you how to recognize the signs of escalating behaviour, how to respond appropriately during episodes of chaos, and how to protect yourself and others from risk of injury. Staff feel more comfortable, which increases retention, when they know how to professionally deal with crisis situations. The goal is to promote client care, welfare, safety, and security, so that everyone involved in a critical setting takes the right steps to stabilize the situation. Any employee who deals with the public can benefit from this course.
