Our Proud Partnership

CIMT College is proud to partner with Abilities to Work in order to provide funding to those suffering from a self-diagnosed disability, which could include Mental Health (Depression, Anxiety, and Stress), Cognitive Challenges, Intellectual Challenges, Learning Challenges, Physical Disabilities… and many others. When you meet with an ATW Intake Coordinator, your disability can be assessed, and your funding can be determined within days.

Abilities To Work Partner - CIMT College

Participant Eligibility Criteria

Applicable for ages 15 and older
Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Has not been in receipt of Employment Insurance (EI) in the past 3-5 years in order to qualify for Work readiness Program, but no EI conditions for the Employment Ontario program
Student must be flexible for any campus location or delivery, class times, or days of the week
Student must be ready and willing to work in competitive employment
Refugees:
- 900 series SIN number: ATW submits to Project Officer for possible approval
- 500 series SIN number: does qualify

Funding Amounts

Students may receive up to $3750.00 to cover tuition costs
Funding is determined by eligibility and suitability of program requirements
Funding may include books, uniform, and First Aid and CPR

Certificate or Program Opportunities

Any short course, or group of short courses, which fall within a 12 week period
Consecutive or individual courses are acceptable, refer to the course calendar
